Post 8: English Language Challenges
Hi everyone,
As this is the last post of the subject, I would like to begin by thanking the teacher for her willingness and her good work in the development of the class.
The truth is, I am a person who has always liked English very much, and I have always seen it, not only as an action that opens many doors and provides many more opportunities, but also as an activity that can be entertaining to learn, practice and to carry out whenever the opportunity is given. It seems to me that it’s an excellent idea to teach the field within the curriculum of the career, especially considering that the fields of professional performance within my career often converge within the international reality and it greatly favors knowing how to communicate in languages other than Spanish.
Personally, I would have liked to be able to enter more of the classes carried out synchronously since for health reasons it was only possible for me to do more than review the recordings, however I highly value the high level with which these were developed, which allowed me personally to clarify many doubts regarding my English, although personally the modality of the blog posts wasn’t entirely comfortable for me since I feel that it added a lot of academic load to the semester. Personally, I feel that the aspect that I must take care of the most in relation to my level of English is pronunciation, which I think can only be worked through putting into practice and speaking the language more to be able to make it more natural, already in my case, outside of class, where I use English the most is by listening to it in songs and translating it in my head, but I don't practice much when it comes to speaking.
Thank you very much for reading and I hope you are all very well!
